Welcoming | My Peace | Rev. Suzanne Swartz |
ALL: O God, when trials beset us it is natural to fear. Called to be courageous, we find our faith lacking. When asked to take risks, we confess our complacency. By ignoring injustice, we hope that it will subside. You have shown us how you are a God to be trusted. Leading your people, you have stayed by their side. Even Christ overcame his enemies as he hung on the cross. Forgive our reluctance to believe in your guidance, and grant us the wisdom to seek refuge in Christ |

Life of the Church | We Have Come Into His House | Elder Christine Lutke |
As God has driven the sea back by a strong east wind, dividing the waters and making of the sea a dry land, so now in Christ, God gives us a rock upon which to stand. Today, know that Christ is merciful and intercedes on our behalf. He is our redeemer in whom we rest forgiven. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Come, Christians Join to Sing | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
