CALL TO CONFESSION We strive to be strong and self-sufficient, but in truth we are in constant need of grace. In penitence and faith let us confess our weakness to God and each other. CONFESSION OF SIN Most merciful God, forgive us. We imagine that we can live without you, when you give us our every breath. We seek our own way rather than working to live in unity. We allow fear to overtake us, even though we are in your hands. We add to these now our silent confession: (silent confession) For these and every way we fall short of your glory, we ask your forgiveness. By your steadfast love shape us anew into the likeness of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen. |

Life of the Church | We Have Come Into His House | Elder Pauline Gregg |
Sisters and brothers, the good news is this: grace is poured out like water; mercy flows like a never-ending stream, bathing us in goodness and love. In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Hallelujah! Amen! |

Passing of the Peace | Christ Is Made the Sure Foundation | Congregarion |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
