One: Let us come into God |
Life of the Church | How Great Thou Art | Deacon Jackie Morgan |
Loving God, even as we praise and thank you with our lips, we know that we are not as thankful as we ought to be. You have given us life. You have given us this beautiful world. And when we turned away and let you down, you gave us the precious gift of your only Son to be our savior and bring us back to you. We proclaim him as our Lord and King, but we too often choose not to follow him, but to go our own way. Forgive us Lord, renew us, and set us again on the path of discipleship and joy. We pray in Jesus |
Passing of the Peace | All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name! | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |
Prelude | We Gather Together | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
