Prayer of Adoration & Confession (unison)
We thank you, loving God, for what we know and what we have yet to know. For the amazing beauty of this world, for the infinite stars, for the renewal of spring, for the flower that buds, then blooms. We pray that in our lives our hearts will open like the flower, and we will understand and demonstrate your love. When we fail to love, we pray that you will forgive us our sin, and that the balm of your Grace will lead us to the friend, the stranger, to our very selves, so that your desire for all your people will be realized; that we are One in you, O God. We ask in Jesus
(A moment for silent reflection)
Assurance of Pardon
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all.
