Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Dirk Voerman |
In Christ, you have given us the assurance of Your love and hope for us. Because of your gift we can live lives filled with confidence, and we hear your Word that we need not fear or wonder what might happen tomorrow. We are thankful for this love, and each day of the amazing journey that is life. But even as we are thankful, and even though we profess our faith, we are sometimes afraid and want to control what we cannot. We cry out in resentment and anger, and have contempt for those different from us. Forgive us, Lord, and heal our hungry hearts. Feed us the Bread of Life that renews our hearts, and let us be filled with compassion, Grace and a faith that is fearless, a faith that calms the storms around and within us. We ask in Jesus' name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Congregation |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | To God Be the Glory | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Hymn #66 (all) |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen |
