Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
O what a morning when we rise to the light of the sun, the singing of birds, a brand new day. O, what a morning when we can rise knowing that you, our Creator, rise with us, and tend to our garden of life. We give thanks for the beauty of every breath, understanding the gift of a human life. It grieves us, Lord, when someone is harmed, or a soul damaged when there can be no reason for cruelty. Forgive, we pray, the sin of violence, emotional or physical. Heal the broken, give strength to the weak, renew in each of us a caring for all people and a desire to work towards a better world, a world of kind acts and unselfish gifts. We ask in the name of your son the Christ, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Deacon Pauline Gregg |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | All Creatures of Our God and King | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
