Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
On this day, Lord, we are especially aware of your presence in our lives. With every breath we rejoice in life! With every word, we celebrate friends, family, and community. In every vista we realize the great works of your hands. How could we ever doubt your love for us? And yet, we do. Forgive us we fall to the sin of ego, of forgetting we are made in your image and beloved by you. Heal us when our hearts are weary, and we think you do not hear. Redeem us, O God, when we are trapped and feel far from you. Let the presence we feel in this moment carry us all our days, and let our voices sing your praise! We ask in Jesus name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Deacon Jeff Morgan |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen |
