Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
We rejoice, O Lord, in the gift of your son the Christ! We turn towards you with joy, our source of hope and light! When we hear the Truth of the Gospel, we understand the commitment of our faith. We grieve, O Lord, when your Word goes unheeded. We are sad, when Love is lost by your people. When we witness cruelty and hatred, we understand the weakness of the human soul. Forgive us, we pray, when we stray from your Word. Save us from a world of indifference, and place in our hearts the eternal flame that is You so that our lives, our hands, our hearts will, by our love, invite the world to your table. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Dick Schultz |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Leaning On The Everlasting Arms | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen |
