There are several updates and reminders we would like to share with you this week.

ONE: Have we not known? Have we not heard?

ALL: Has it not been told to us from the beginning?

ONE: Those who hope in the Lord shall renew their strength;

ALL: We shall mount up with wings like eagles;

ONE: We will run and not be weary; we shall walk and not faint.

ALL: Those who hope in the Lord shall renew their strength.

Ever-living, ever-reigning Lord our God, our righteous shepherd and our loving judge, have mercy on us as we confess our sin. In the sacrifice of your Son you have saved us from the power of sin and death, yet we have not responded with joyful obedience. You have nourished us with the very body and blood of our Savior, yet we have clamored for what does not nourish. For these and every way we sin against you, we ask your forgiveness.

Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ. Christ died for us. Christ rose for us. And Christ reigns in power for us. Hear and believe the good news of the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen

PASTOR: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
ALL: It is right to give our thanks and praise.

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to present yourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
Let us offer our lives to the Lord.
Romans 12:1

God of unending gifts, we praise you for your abundant goodness.
As you are generous, we want to be generous too.
May the gifts we bring extend your generosity into the world,
so that all people may be made whole by your goodness and grace. Amen.
