Life of the Church | We Shall Behold Him | Deacon Jackie Morgan |
You are the Holy One, Creator of all. Over the ages you have brought light from darkness, lifted life from dust, and poured color over the earth. Your works are beautiful, and our blessings without number. To us you gave responsibility for creation and for one other, a glorious trust. We should rejoice, but so often we take this gift for granted. Help us to honor your trust and to bless each life. Forgive us when we destroy without thought, especially pain caused to those less fortunate. Even as we receive mercy, let us be merciful, and to love as you love us. Always we pray in Jesus Christ, Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | When Morning Gilds the Skies | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |
||
Prelude | Though I May Speak | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
