Life of the Church | As The Deer | Joyce Lilyquist |
God of all Creation, on this day we give thanks for the many gifts we have been given: For life, for love, for friends, for freedom. We honor those who have sacrificed so that we can worship you, and live the life you have ordained for us. Your world is an awesome world, filled with impossible beauty and possibility. Help us to set aside selfishness and sin, and focus on what is good in all that surrounds us. Reveal in us lives that honor sacrifices made for us, and let us be the stranger that lifts a life and changes a heart through goodness and love. We boldly pray in Jesus' name, Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | What a Fellowship, What a Joy Divine | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |

Prelude | Lord, I Lift Your Name on High | solo by Joyce Lilyquist |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
